The product

Your AI coding workspace. Your choice of compute.

TuxNest is a VS Code-integrated engineering assistant that brings model selection, project understanding, proposed changes and verification into one developer workflow.

Your GPU. Your AI. Your Control. Anywhere. · Created by Paladugu Ganesh Naidu

Designed for real development

Work on actual projects rather than copying isolated model responses between chat windows. TuxNest exposes Ask, Plan and Agent workflows, with selected project context, bounded tool actions, reviewable edits and observable results.

Ask

Understand code, explain errors and explore repository context.

Plan

Develop a proposed implementation sequence before making changes.

Agent

Use permitted tools, propose modifications and check real results instead of treating generated prose as proof.

The hybrid-compute difference

Your VS Code session stays on the development machine. A selected model can run through local Ollama or a configured Ollama server on your own GPU workstation reached over authenticated SSH. A compatible hosted endpoint is a separate explicit choice.

Local inference

Suitable for models running on your own computer.

Self-managed remote inference

Keep the heavy model on a GPU workstation and use it from a lightweight laptop.

Explicit compatible endpoint

Choose an external inference service when that is appropriate and authorized.

Who it helps

TuxNest is designed for students, individual developers, AI engineers and teams evaluating self-managed AI-assisted development. Actual quality, speed and security depend on the models, infrastructure and extension configuration.

Getting started

Install the verified VS Code extension, choose a supported inference connection, inspect the available models, open a project and begin with a read-only question. Before accepting agent edits or commands, review their scope and test the result.

Our tagline is “Tuxnest is India's first plug-and-play hybrid AI agent ecosystem”. Self-hosted inference requires appropriate host security, model capacity, power and networking; it does not establish automatic legal compliance.
